The Fraternity of St. Hubert is a brotherhood of Catholic men, pitting themselves against the wild and the world — in pursuit of the One who sought them first.

An organization of Catholic men, seeking to be who the Lord is calling them to be — embracing the masculinity of Christ, of St. Joseph, and the patriarchs who came before.
We host retreats meant to pit men against nature, to let them embrace adventure. But that is not the goal. The goal is a community of virtuous men, fighting toward salvation, who understand who they are and why they were made.
“We must fight courageously, not only against visible enemies, but against invisible ones. For our struggle is with the devil, the world, and ourselves.”
“It is not the souls’ enemies that should be feared, but the souls’ cowardice.”
Every day begins with Holy Mass and the opportunity for confession before we set into the wild.
Big game across North America and Africa. Trusted outfitters. Real terrain. Real consequence.
Evenings by the fire — meaningful conversation, fellowship, reflection, and the forging of friendships.

A regular guy in love with his Catholic faith. Converted at 16 during a summer retreat in adoration. Husband, father of six, an expert at failing forward — and finding God in the stillness of His creation.
After organizing a safari for Pints with Aquinas in the summer of 2025, there was a clear prompting from the Holy Spirit. We are blessed to combine the Sacraments and the hunt — a combo that is hard to beat.
We do not promise safety, comfort, convenience, or success. We promise an adventure with virtuous men — and Christ Himself through the Blessed Sacrament.

“I'm not sure about reintegrating back to the real world after living in the beauty and simplicity of God's creation for several days. My normal life is less real world than Namibia.”
I did not anticipate the depth of friendship cultivated in such a short time. Every day since I have been back, I have felt even more closely connected to the guys, to God, and to His creation. I am eternally grateful — and honored to be part of the inaugural trip.

Mass at dawn. The wild by day. Fellowship and fire by night. A retreat in the truest sense — from the world.
